I have thought long and hard about a brand that I love. Although it has been a difficult decision, one brand stands out like no other, This brand is found in my favorite store, Nordstrom. Kenneth Cole has designed some of the best clothing since his humble beginning of selling shoes out of his trunk in Midtown Manhattan. Since then, Kenneth Cole sprang Kenneth Cole New York, an upscale offspring of apparel, shoes, handbags and accessories. It is the comfort and versatility of the Kenneth Cole Brand that I most love. He creates sleek, stylish, modern and affordable clothing. While you will find some pieces may cost more than you choose to spend, there are certainly fabulous items that will fit any budget.

Yes, he is one of the best designers! He designs pieces that last, not just quality but in style. I have a few bags and pairs of shoes of his that I've had for years, still in great shape. Kenneth Cole is also one of the few designers who is designing more ethically-not using fur, supports various charitable causes from homelessness to AIDS. I also remember he helped raise money to help out victims from 9/11 and hurricane Katrina with specially designed t-shirts, gave discounts for bringing clothing for donations. One of the few designers that really seems to care.
